Infrastructure Cloud Engineer opportunity, London based insurer, Hybrid working, up to £90k base + bonus & benefits package What you'll be doing: Designing, deploying and maintaining secure, scalable Azure infrastructure, using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM)Enabling CI/CD and release automation through Azure DevOps, supporting Development teams with cloud-native hosting, APIs and containerised workloadsPartnering with Data teams on cloud ingestion, storage, analytics and BI infrastructure, including Azure Fabric and/or DatabricksBuilding automation with PowerShell/Python to cut manual operational overheadImplementing monitoring, logging, backup, DR and resilience practicesEmbedding security-by-design and working closely with Cyber Security on posture, vulnerabilities and compliance What you'll need: Extensive, hands-on experience administering, configuring and migrating the Microsoft Azure platform and its associated applications is essential — this is a core requirement, not a nice-to-haveInsurance, financial services or other regulated-industry backgroundStrong grounding in Azure networking, security, identity and access managementInfrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Bicep, ARM or equivalent)Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipeline delivery and supportScripting and automation skills (PowerShell and/or Python)Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and related cloud toolingExperience supporting SQL platforms or cloud-based data workloads Nice to have: Docker, Kubernetes, Datadog, Microsoft Sentinel or Defender for CloudData engineering pipelines, analytics platforms or internal developer platform experience
