Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer / Technical Architect with strong expertise in Salesforce solution architecture, application development, API development, and enterprise system integration. The selected candidate will lead technical architecture and solution design while translating business requirements into scalable and functional Salesforce applications, services, APIs, and integrated solutions. This role involves working closely with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, develop robust documentation, and lead projects through design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The ideal candidate should bring strong experience in Salesforce development, Solution Architecture, MuleSoft API development, Database Design, System Integration, Web Application Development, and enterprise application delivery. Strong communication, ownership, stakeholder management, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment are essential. Key Responsibilities Serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert for Salesforce engagements and projects.Lead the technical architecture, solution design, and application development of Salesforce-based solutions.Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and well-architected Salesforce solutions.Conduct fit-gap analysis and map business requirements to Salesforce capabilities, best practices, and platform features.Lead projects through discovery, requirements definition, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases.Design and develop business application functionality using declarative and custom Salesforce capabilities.Prioritize Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality and AppExchange solutions where appropriate, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community/Experience Cloud.Define and design API and integration architectures connecting Salesforce with external business and enterprise systems.Design, implement, and manage APIs as products using OpenAPI v3 and MuleSoft's API-led architecture, including Experience, Process, and System APIs.Develop and maintain secure, scalable MuleSoft APIs using API-led connectivity and enterprise integration best practices.Lead technical solutioning sessions and develop architecture diagrams, technical design documents, system designs, and integration documentation.Evaluate solution feasibility, benefits, risks, and technical impacts, while recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.Prepare detailed level-of-effort estimates for proposed solutions and technical initiatives.Manage and oversee development, testing, deployment, and release plans to ensure high-quality delivery.Lead development teams through build, test, and deployment phases while providing guidance on secure, scalable coding practices and platform constraints.Provide technical guidance and support to development teams for application enhancements, operational support, bug fixes, and troubleshooting.Provide technical assistance and end-user support for platform issues, enhancements, and functional queries.Develop and maintain automated MUnit test suites to support API quality and reliability.Define and implement CI/CD environments, DevOps practices, release processes, and deployment standards.Review technical designs and code to ensure alignment with development standards, coding best practices, security, scalability, and performance requirements.Identify and define current-state and future-state architecture, including system gaps and recommended improvements.Support pre-sales and solutioning activities by preparing high-level solution designs, estimates, and technical approaches.Contribute to RFP responses, client presentations, and other solution discussions as required.Stay current with Salesforce products, platform capabilities, releases, and emerging technologies.Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across development teams and communities of practice.Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Required Skills and Experience Education & Overall Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.Minimum 7 years of Salesforce implementation and/or relevant technical experience in architecting and delivering enterprise technical solutions.Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lead Developer or Architect on enterprise-scale Salesforce projects.Minimum 3 years of MuleSoft API development experience.Demonstrated experience delivering at least 3 full SDLC Salesforce-based projects, including discovery, requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Understanding of and hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies and enterprise software delivery.
