As we continue to grow, we're looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Front-end Engineer to join our Product & Engineering team. The Role You'll design, build, and improve the web applications that sit at the centre of the customer and operational experience, from the products customers use every day to the internal platforms that support clinic teams. Working alongside an experienced team of designers, product managers, and engineers, you'll have significant ownership and influence over the technical direction of our web products. Job Title: Senior Front-end Engineer Team: Product & Engineering Start Date: ASAP Reports To: Chief Product Officer Location: Central London — 3 days per week in the office, 2 days working from home Type: Full-time, permanent Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain business-critical web applications for customers and internal teamsOwn the architecture and technical strategy of the web ecosystemBuild responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces in close collaboration with designers and the wider product teamIntegrate APIs and services that power web and mobile applicationsWork as part of an autonomous, cross-functional team and contribute to a positive and inclusive engineering cultureCommunicate technical concepts and ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWrite clean, well-structured code and maintain high engineering standardsDeploy software to production, monitor performance and availability, and troubleshoot issues What We're Looking For 5+ years' experience building and shipping production web applications, ideally supporting both web and mobile clientsStrong proficiency in TypeScript and modern web frameworks such as React and Next.jsExperience building responsive, accessible, and performant front-end experiences in collaboration with designersStrong engineering practices, including CI/CD, clean code, automated testing, unit testing, and integration testingExperience integrating third-party APIs and servicesGood understanding of web security best practicesA proactive approach to identifying and solving complex problems independently and collaborativelyComfortable taking ambiguous requirements and translating them into clear, actionable user storiesExperience with headless CMS platforms such as Strapi and modelling content for non-technical usersPractical knowledge of Next.js rendering modes and CDN caching, including the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot unexpected behaviourUnderstanding of technical SEO for multi-location businesses, including structured data, location pages, and Core Web VitalsNice to have: Full-stack development experience or an interest in contributing to backend development What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience and expertiseA central London office with a collaborative and vibrant working environmentOpportunities for professional development, training, and career progressionA supportive and inclusive culture where your ideas and contributions are valuedThe opportunity to work on technology that has a tangible impact on customers, professionals, and the wider business We're looking for someone who wants to take genuine ownership of their work and help build exceptional digital experiences as the company continues to grow.
