You will ensure that our data layer remains reliable, efficient, and capable of supporting the continued growth of our platform. Working closely with software developers, architects, customer support, and operations teams, your expertise will influence the long-term success of business-critical services. AI-assisted software development is integral to our engineering approach. By effectively leveraging modern AI tools, you will help accelerate software delivery, improve code quality, and drive continuous innovation across our development organization. What The Role Offers Design, develop, and optimize database solutions for a large-scale OpenText SaaS platformCreate, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queriesEvolve relational data models to support scalability, performance, and maintainabilityInvestigate and resolve database reliability, availability, and data integrity issuesShape technical discussions and contribute to data architecture and platform design decisionsPartner with cross-functional teams in an agile environment What You Need To Succeed At least 8 years of professional experience in software development, database development, or related fieldsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsProven expertise in PostgreSQL, relational databases, and SQLExperience designing and optimizing database schemas and data modelsExtensive hands-on experience tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing database performanceFluent English and very good German language skills, both written and spoken One Last Thing OpenText is more than just a corporation, it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.
