We are all driven to improve surgery care for both patients and professionals. Our team members are ambitious, proactive, transparent and eager to learn.Our first software as a medical device, PERISCOPE®, has been CE-certified and we are now onboarding the first customers across the Netherlands, Belgium and further abroad. With PERISCOPE®’s reliable infection risk scores, action can be taken to discharge patients more safely, treat infections earlier, greatly improving patient outcomes and reducing their length of stay at the hospital. Our ambitions are global and we have partners across Europe and the US. We also work closely with major hospital software vendors, like Chipsoft, Oracle, and Microsoft, to provide reliable and easy ways to offer and maintain PERISCOPE to the physician- and nurse-end-users in the hospitals. Job introduction Help put AI at the bedside and keep it running there. Great predictions only matter if the system actually runs reliably and securely. That's where you come in. As our Deployment Engineer, you own the technical side of getting PERISCOPE live in hospitals and keeping our infrastructure solid behind the scenes. You'll be on the front line of every implementation: installing our EHR connector, standing up PERISCOPE in the cloud or on-premise, sorting out VPNs, VMs and connectivity, and verifying that everything works before go-live. Between implementations, you'll strengthen our internal DevOps and ensure all elements are in place and operate flawlessly to monitor, and quality check our deployed products. What you'll do Install and configure the EHR connectors and PERISCOPE at hospitals — cloud and on-premiseProvision VMs, VPNs, SSH access, whitelisting and network connectivity per siteRun installation and integration verification and get systems cleanly to go-liveBuild and maintain our internal infrastructure and DevOps tooling — CI/CD, containers, monitoring, IaCAssist in the preparation and quality-check of calibration and production datasets via the connector/ETL pathTroubleshoot connectivity, availability and performance issues, on-site and internallyWork with hospital IT, platform partners, and internal Data, Product and QA/RA teamsKeep security, privacy and documentation built into everything you deploy What we’re looking for At least 3 years' experience in DevOps / deploying and operating systems in productionDegree in CS/IT/engineering or equivalent hands-on experienceStrong Linux (Ubuntu), Git, SSH and VPNsVM & infrastructure provisioning, on-premise and cloud using Ansible and Terraform/terragruntDocker + container management; CI/CD, DevOps practices, monitoring/observabilityNetwork security — peering, firewalls, whitelisting, TLS, OAuth2A structured problem-solver comfortable on-site with hospital teamsFluent English (Dutch a big plus given our current customer base)Bonus: EHR integration experience, or a regulated medical-device background (ISO 13485 / IEC 62304).
