Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Drive technology development of photonics for example enabling the scaling towards very large ion trap chips Design, fabricate and characterize photonic circuit chips for a wide range of applications Author technical reports and publications in close collaborations with internal and external partners Supervise Master and PhD students Your profile Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed PhD degree in physics, quantum engineering, electrical engineering3+ years of hands on experience in photonics, quantum optics and/or ion trapping High level of motivation, striving for photonics and quantum computing to become a reality Be fluent in English communication and presentation skills (German is a plus) #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
