Front-End Developer – JavaScript / Vite.js / MVC

Title - Frontend Developer - Vite.js Location - London Hybrid Outside IR35 Circa 400-450 per day We are looking for an experienced Front-End Developer to join an established engineering team, working on a customer-facing, search-led digital platform. This is a hands-on development role suited to someone who can quickly understand an existing codebase, collaborate effectively with product and UX teams, and begin delivering value from the outset. Key responsibilities: Develop and enhance responsive, customer-facing web applicationsBuild new functionality using JavaScript, HTML, CSS and BootstrapWork within an established MVC-based application architectureIntegrate front-end components with APIs and back-end services Essential experience: Strong commercial JavaScript, HTML and CSS development experienceHands-on experience with Vite.jsExperience developing within MVC-based web applicationsStrong Bootstrap and responsive web development skillsExperience integrating front-end applications with APIsComfortable joining and contributing to a mature, established codebaseStrong communication and teamworking skills Desirable experience: Optimizely CMS or another enterprise CMSAgile/Scrum engineering environmentsCI/CD pipelines and modern development practices We are looking for someone pragmatic and delivery-focused who can get up to speed quickly and contribute effectively as part of an experienced engineering team.
