About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a focus on frontend development to join our dynamic team in New York City.
In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing features specifically tailored for the US market, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for American consumers.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, and backend engineers—to craft fast, accessible, and user-friendly web applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Vue 3, Nuxt 3, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with a passion for building high-performance web experiences.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to API design, server-side rendering (SSR), and performance optimization, fostering a culture of ownership, testing, and continuous improvement within a hybrid office environment in New York City.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer, with a minimum of 5 years in web development roles.Expertise in Vue.js, specifically Vue 3, and Nuxt.js framework.Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of modern ES6+ features.Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and performance optimization techniques.Familiarity with API design and integration, RESTful services, and GraphQL.Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
