We are seeking experienced test automation engineers to join our agile Development & QA team. The Multi-Tenant Enterprise Governed Data Platform (MEGDP) Team is at the forefront of the cloud journey for a global bank. MEGDP is entering its second generation it will be your responsibility to ensure it is production ready to support our 50+ tenants who fulfil many critical functions of our business. MEGDP consumes data from master and authoritative sources; performs calculations therein and distributes outputs of data to consuming applications, with key consumers across all business divisions including Corporate Center, Operations, Risk, Finance, Treasury and firm wide programs for regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: • Analyses, plans, designs, implements, documents and tests regular items in domain and technology area according to specifications and software production process. • Estimates, develops and solves regular engineering problems. • Proactively participates in process developments and takes part in releases delivery. • Knows technology, methods and environments related to the assigned tasks and learns business and domain knowledge. • Creates units tests according with TDD approach. • Fixes bugs. • Performs code reviews. • Communicates with BAs and QAs. Mandatory Skills Description: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer, with expertise in Java/J2EE technologies. • Hands-on experience with cloud services (Azure preferred). • Strong knowledge of web development frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs. • Proficient in database development using SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle). • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (Azure Kubernetes Service - AKS). • Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
