Role Purpose:
Operate and optimize the GCP environment — compute, storage, networking, and cost — ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provision, scale, and manage GCP resources; administer cloud compute, storage, and project structuresMonitor cloud workloads, manage capacity, and drive cost optimization and rightsizingExecute standard changes, patching, and configuration management aligned to cloud best practice and security policyTroubleshoot cloud incidents and support root-cause analysis; contribute to reliability and performance improvementsMaintain cloud documentation, standards, and configuration baselines
Required Skills & Experience:
Senior: 8+ years in cloud/infrastructure with deep GCP operations and design input; able to lead complex changes and mentor junior team membersMid-level: 2–5 years of hands-on GCP operations experienceStrong knowledge of GCP services, IAM, networking, and cost managementGCP certification preferred (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect / Engineer)Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation (e.g., Terraform) is an advantage
