Sr. Python Developer

We are looking for Sr. Python Developer (Experience in telecom domain or network automation (4G Core, 5G, SBA) Location - Ipswich,UK or London, UK (Hybrid - 3 Days office and 2 Day work from home) Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: • Experience in telecom domain or network automation (4G Core, 5G, SBA) • Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and event-driven architectures • Experience with cloud platforms (Openstack) and infrastructure-as-code • Familiarity with Pytest, Selenium, or Playwright for test automation • Knowledge of Grafana, ELK stack, or Prometheus for monitoring • Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery practices Essential skills/knowledge/experience: • Strong proficiency in building REST APIs using Flask or FastAPI with proper authentication, error handling, and documentation • Hands-on experience with HTML/CSS and templating engines (Jinja2) for building lightweight web interfaces • Solid working knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) — schema design, queries, and optimization • Proficient in Linux environments — shell scripting (Bash), cron jobs, process management, and server administration • Experience building and deploying applications using Docker containers and Docker Compose • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and version control (Git) • Experience with Python libraries for automation — requests, paramiko, subprocess, schedule, pandas • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, SSH) and API integration patterns Company Description: Techaxis is a UK-based firm that specializes in discovering, engaging, and placing top talent globally, for full-time or contract positions in leadership and mid to senior-level positions for companies in the technology, healthcare, energy, and education space.
