Elite 3E Developer (Analyst Programmer) Glasgow | Hybrid | £40,000 - £65,000 VIQU has partnered with a large international professional services organisation seeking an Elite 3E Developer to join its Digital Practice Solutions team. This is a hands-on development and technical ownership role supporting business-critical finance and practice systems. You’ll take ownership of development workstreams across design, estimation, build, testing, release and support, while acting as a technical lead for the organisation’s Elite 3E platform. They are open to experienced Elite 3E professionals, but will also consider strong finance systems developers or technical leads from comparable web-based application environments who have the right Microsoft development background and are looking to cross-skill into 3E. Key Responsibilities of the Elite 3E Developer Act as a technical lead and go-to person for Elite 3EDevelop and enhance 3E applications and modulesSupport internally developed applications, integrations and the 3E platformOwn development workstreams from specification and design through to release and supportProduce technical and functional documentationWork with consultants, developers, business analysts, architects and business usersCarry out unit testing and systems integration testingCoordinate user acceptance testingResolve escalated third-line incidentsSupport upgrades across 3E, time-tracking and related systemsParticipate in the on-call support rota Key Requirements of the Elite 3E Developer Commercial software development experienceKnowledge of web-based software architecture and designStrong Microsoft SQL Server and SQL scripting experienceNET Framework experience, primarily VB.NETXML technologies including XSLT and XPathExperience taking technical ownership of business-critical applicationsStrong hands-on development, testing and support capabilityAbility to estimate technical work accurately and deliver against commitmentsStrong technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills Desirable Experience Elite 3E or similar financial systems experienceFinance or legal sector experienceElite 3E IDE and database structure knowledgeMicrosoft SSRS or similar reporting experienceExperience with customisable third-party solutionsMulti-tier application architecture and design patternsStrong database design, analysis and development experience The Elite 3E Developer (Analyst Programmer) role offers the opportunity to take real ownership of a business-critical platform while broadening your expertise across systems including Elite 3E, Intapp Time and Chrome River Expense.
