Kubernetes Administrator

I am looking for a Kubernetes Administrator responsible for operating and maintaining production-grade Kubernetes and OpenShift environments. You will handle installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of clusters while ensuring high availability, security, and performance. The role also includes infrastructure automation, capacity planning, and support for containerized applications in close collaboration with DevOps and development teams. Strong experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and Linux environments is required. 🚀 Project - install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters - manage and develop Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environments - ensure high availability, security, stability, and performance of container platforms - manage namespaces, resource quotas, and multi-tenant Kubernetes environments - automate infrastructure and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code - troubleshoot cluster and platform issues in production environments - perform capacity planning and platform scaling - standardize and optimize platform services and operations - support containerized applications in production - collaborate closely with Development, DevOps, and Platform teams - support CI/CD processes from the platform and infrastructure side 🎯 Skills - 3+ years of experience administering Kubernetes and/or OpenShift - strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) - strong Kubernetes administration skills in production environments - experience with Linux-based environments, ideally Red Hat / RHEL - experience operating production-grade container platforms - understanding of high availability, security, scalability, and performance concepts - experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation - strong troubleshooting skills in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments - fluent Norwegian (mandatory) - ability to work full-time onsite in Oslo 💡 Nice to have - CI/CD experience - DevOps or Platform Engineering background - multi-tenancy experience - knowledge of Kubernetes namespaces and resource quotas - capacity planning and cluster scaling experience - Terraform - Ansible - Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) #LI-MN3
