Our Client is seeking an experienced Python/Software Developer to join its development team and contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of a healthcare software platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python and Django, a solid background working within the healthcare industry, and experience developing production software applications. The successful candidate will play an important role in building and enhancing the platform from the initial development stages through launch and ongoing improvements. The candidate should be a strong problem solver who can translate business and product requirements into reliable technical solutions while collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. . Location: Bronx or Monsey, NY Job Type: Full-Time Work Setup: Hybrid Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 per year Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python/Django code for the healthcare software platformBuild new features, functionality, backend services, and platform capabilitiesTranslate product, business, and healthcare requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutionsContribute to the development of the software platform from initial architecture and implementation through launch and ongoing enhancementDevelop and maintain production-quality software applications following established engineering best practicesCollaborate closely with UX/UI designers, software developers, healthcare subject-matter experts, product stakeholders, and organizational leadershipTroubleshoot, debug, diagnose, and resolve application and technical issuesEnsure software is scalable, maintainable, secure, reliable, and aligned with development standardsParticipate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of the development processProvide technical recommendations and contribute ideas that improve platform functionality, performance, and usabilityHelp ensure the software effectively supports healthcare-related workflows, business processes, and operational requirementsCommunicate technical concepts, development considerations, and potential solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersContribute to ongoing platform enhancements based on user feedback, business needs, and evolving healthcare requirements. Required QualificationsMinimum 3 years of professional Django development experience.Strong hands-on proficiency with Python and DjangoMinimum 3 years of healthcare industry experience.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field requiredProven experience developing and maintaining production software applicationsStrong understanding of software development principles, coding standards, testing, debugging, and application maintenanceStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issuesExperience translating business and product requirements into practical technical solutionsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with developers, designers, product stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and leadershipStrong attention to detail and commitment to developing high-quality, reliable, and maintainable softwareAbility to work effectively in a hybrid development environment and collaborate with cross-functional teamsExperience working on healthcare software, healthcare technology platforms, clinical workflows, or related healthcare applications is strongly preferred.
