Milies is Hiring: Junior DevOps Engineer
Milies is looking for a motivated and curious Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team and help build and maintain reliable, automated infrastructure for our live products.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines.Manage and support basic AWS resources (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, EKS, etc.).Deploy and manage self-hosted services using Helm charts.Work with Docker to build, run, and troubleshoot containerized applications.Support the design, configuration, and delivery of cloud infrastructure, following automation and security best practices.Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our CI/CD strategy and cross-functional collaboration practices.Help create clear documentation for use by Development, QA, Technical Operations, Support, and other teams.Assist in maintaining tools that improve observability of our cloud-based environments.Learn and promote the use of cloud-native tools and methodologies.Be part of a collaborative, fast-paced team, always ready to learn and take on new challenges.
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.Basic knowledge of Linux.Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, basic troubleshooting).Basic knowledge of English.
Knowledge of Docker.Knowledge of AWS.
Bonus Points If You
Have knowledge of Kubernetes.Are familiar with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.Have experience with a monitoring/logging tool (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).Basic knowledge of a scripting language (Python, Bash, or similar).Hold relevant certifications.
