Title: DevOps Engineer Type: Contract | 10/9/2026 - 3/31/2027 Day Rate: £447.90 (Equivalent Umbrella Rate) Location: Glasgow (5 days onsite) Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in their Delivery Unit. Responsibilities Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure by applying your knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment, cloud technologies, container orchestration, and security.Build and test end-to-end continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines while ensuring that systems remain secure against potential threats.Collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.Take responsibility for team decisions.Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.Provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams.Develop and optimize infrastructure automation to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.Support and guide team members by sharing expertise and best practices in continuous integration and delivery.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment challenges.Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance security and scalability.Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions that align with organizational goals and industry standards.
