Role Description:
The Web Developer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing Glossy Lounge’s website and related digital experiences.
Day-to-day tasks include developing responsive front-end interfaces, implementing back-end functionality, integrating APIs, and ensuring seamless performance across devices and browsers.
The role involves collaborating with design, marketing, and e-commerce teams to translate brand concepts and campaigns into engaging digital experiences, as well as monitoring site analytics and resolving technical issues.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
Qualifications:
Strong Front-End Development skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.Solid Back-End Web Development experience with server-side languages, databases, and API integrations.Comprehensive Web Development and Programming skills, with the ability to build and maintain scalable web applications.Web Design capabilities, including understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design best practices.Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar) and payment gateway integrations.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Ability to troubleshoot, test, and optimize for performance, accessibility, and security.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary, on-site team environment.Experience in fashion industry, sustainability, or purpose-driven brands is advantage.
