Functional Activities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.Drive GitOps practices for deployment and configuration management.Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS, self-managed, or other distributions).Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.Automate operational processes with Bash scripting and other scripting languages.Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth software delivery.Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for production systems.Manage and optimize deployments in AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, EKS, etc.).Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps practices, automation, and team processes.
Required Knowledge & Experience
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring).Experience with GitOps workflows and tools such as Argo CD or FluxCD.Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).Strong expertise in Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning.Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.Advanced Bash scripting and general Linux systems administration skills.Solid experience with AWS cloud services.Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and microservices best practices.Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
Education and Certification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related STEM disciplineAny DevOps / Development / System Engineering certification would be a plus
