Description

We're looking for a mid-level Full Stack Developer for a client platform build in Sydney. You'll work directly on a live client engagement, building features end to end, from database through to UI, alongside our delivery team and the client's stakeholders. It's a hands-on role with real ownership: small team, short feedback loops, and visible impact on what ships. Hybrid working, based in Sydney. What you'll be doing Build and ship full stack features across frontend, backend and databaseDesign and implement APIs and data models that hold up as the platform growsTranslate business requirements into working software, in collaboration with business analysts and client stakeholdersWrite clean, tested, maintainable code and take part in code reviewsSupport deployments and help troubleshoot issues in staging and productionContribute to technical documentation so the work is handover-ready at the end of the engagementJoin stand-ups and sprint ceremonies, and give clear progress updates to the delivery lead What you'll need 3+ years' commercial full stack development experienceStrong JavaScript/TypeScript, with a modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, Vue or Angular)Solid backend development experience (Node.js, Python, .NET or similar)Confident with relational databases and SQL including schema design, queries, performanceExperience building and consuming REST APIsGit and modern CI/CD workflowsAble to work independently and get productive quicklyClear communicator who can talk to non-technical stakeholdersCurrent Australian working rights and based in Sydney Nice to have Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP or Cloudflare)Familiarity with BaaS platforms such as Supabase or FirebaseExposure to AI/LLM integrations in production applicationsExperience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first frameworksTesting frameworks and automated test practiceBackground in property, telco or enterprise SaaS domains Note: No work visa sponsorships available.
