I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to support BalWin4 & LanWin1, two major German offshore wind transmission projects delivering 2 x 2 GW of transmission capacity — enough to provide green electricity to up to 5 million households. 🔹 Contract: 18 months initially 🔹 Project scope: Long-term programme extending to 2032 🔹 Location: Germany / Remote-first 🔹 Travel: Infrequent, approximately bi-weekly project/client meetings 🔹 Languages: German + English 🔹 Background: Civil Engineering The role will be highly involved in planning and construction organisation, stakeholder communication, and coordination across cable, concrete and steel construction. Experience with HVDC / HGÜ would be a strong advantage, although not essential. The projects are already progressing toward their first grid connection in 2029, making this an exciting opportunity to be involved in a major European energy infrastructure programme.
