Senior Integration Engineer

As a Senior Engineer in the team, you will design, build, and operate our workplace collaboration platforms and productivity tools. You'll work alongside a team of engineers and set the bar for code quality, testing, and security. Your responsibilities will include building integrations and automation for employee collaboration platforms, designing scalable APIs and services, reviewing pull requests, and simplifying complex workflows and processes. You will also explore new technologies, AI capabilities, and vendor APIs, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of workplace innovation. What You Offer Experience running complex engineering initiatives and shipping great products in an Agile environmentIn-depth, expert-level hands-on experience with Java, caching, NoSQL databases, and cloud technologies (Google Cloud)Deep knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and integration patternsSolid grasp of how to build scalable, maintainable, and performant orchestration across our platformsStrong on impact analysis and risk management for major design options, ensuring designs meet functional and non-functional requirementsWorking knowledge of containerisation, CI/CD, RESTful APIs, webhooks, and modern open-source toolingCurious, forward-thinking approach with a genuine eagerness to use AI tools and engineering leverage to lift your own and the team's productivityAbility to drive key architecture and design decisions across a platform, and communicate them clearly at all levels of the organisation We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
