Description
Rivogaming builds a multi-tenant iGaming platform β casino, sportsbook, wallet, and payments β for fast-growing markets, running on AWS with a modern, container-based infrastructure.
We're a lean engineering team where every hire has real ownership from day one, and where reliability isn't an afterthought β it's core to what we build.
The Role
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you'll join our infrastructure team and learn to keep our platform fast, secure, and always available.
You'll work alongside experienced DevOps engineers on our AWS cloud environment, our GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and the monitoring stack that keeps our team ahead of problems instead of reacting to them.
This is a hands-on, mentored role: you'll be trusted with real infrastructure work from your first weeks, with senior engineers guiding you as you grow into greater ownership.

What We're Looking For
0β2 years of experience in DevOps, sysadmin, or backend engineering β internships, personal projects, and bootcamps count.Basic understanding of Linux systems administration and comfort working from the command line. Some exposure to a cloud provider (AWS preferred, but GCP/Azure experience is fine too) β coursework or personal projects welcome.Familiarity with Docker and basic containerisation concepts.Scripting ability in Bash or Python β you don't need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable writing and debugging scripts.A genuine curiosity about how production systems work, and a willingness to ask questions and learn fast.
Nice to Have
Exposure to Terraform or another Infrastructure-as-Code tool.Coursework, certifications (e.g.
AWS Cloud Practitioner/Associate), or personal projects involving Kubernetes.Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).Curiosity about GitOps (we're rolling out ArgoCD) or event-streaming systems (we run a Kafka-compatible broker, Redpanda).Interest in iGaming, fintech, or other high-availability, high-transaction environments.
