PEU RAN Performance PEG3 is part of Integrated RAN in BA Networks and responsible for driving Baseband software product development end to end by having competence and capability to take on full feature responsibility. As a Baseband Software Tester, you will work in a team that has the responsibility for developing 5G Baseband and Cloud RAN software products. That means testing and integrating advanced signal-processing functions and algorithms in a cycle and memory constrained real-time environment. The test environment is both simulated and true e2e including Core Network, Radio Access nodes and real or simulated mobile phones. You will experience a truly collaborative and supportive environment, both in terms of tools and colleagues. And you will have lots of fun. PEU RAN Performance is located mainly on different sites in Sweden, Canada, China, US and Poland. This position is situated in Kraków, Poland. What you will do: Develop and maintain automated test solutions for feature verification, regression testing, and continuous integration Verify and improve the quality and performance of 5G Baseband and Cloud RAN software products in simulated and end-to-endenvironments Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with developers and system engineers to drive product quality improvements Contribute to feature systemization, documentation, and continuous improvements of products, tools, automation frameworks, andprocesses Ensure test environments, platforms, and automation solutions are available and ready for software deliveries The skills you bring: BSc level (MSc preferred) in a technical field or equivalent experience Knowledge of New Radio (NR) system design, node verification, and RAN troubleshooting Experience in software testing, test automation, and scripting using Python, C++, Java, or similar languages Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and development tools (e.g., Git, Gerrit, Jenkins) Knowledge of NR Baseband architecture and functionality (e.g., UPC UL, UPC DL, ULPHY, DLPHY, MAC, L3) Experience with radio network test tools, UE simulators, protocol analyzers, and test equipment Ability to analyze logs, traces, and performance measurements to identify issues and drive root-cause investigations Understanding of relevant 3GPP specifications and Linux-based development environments This is a hybrid model role - 3 days from the office and 2 days from home weekly.
