Senior Java Developer

Build, improve, and ship software that matters. We’re looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a collaborative engineering team and work on products used in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You’ll be involved across the development lifecycle — from building new features and improving existing applications to writing tests, troubleshooting issues, and helping keep the codebase reliable and maintainable. What You’ll Be Working On Developing and maintaining applications using Java 8+ Building and improving backend services and web applications with Spring / Spring Boot Working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL Contributing to both new development and the improvement of existing products Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Investigating technical issues and finding practical solutions Collaborating with developers and other stakeholders throughout the development process Taking part in an Agile/Scrum way of working, including stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives Using version control and modern development practices to keep the development process smooth and reliable. What We’re Looking For Strong commercial experience with Java 8+ Solid knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot Good understanding of SQL and relational databases Experience working with Git or another source control system Comfortable working with development environments such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or similar Good understanding of software development principles and clean code practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment Experience with any of the following would be a plus: Oracle JSP / XML Linux / Unix Legacy Java applications or Swing-based applications Why join?
