About The Role As a Web Development & SEO Intern at FashionX Magazine, you will support the development, optimization, and performance of our digital platforms.This role offers hands-on experience working across multiple websites within a fashion media environment, contributing to both functionality, user experience, and search visibility What You’ll Be Working On Support the development and maintenance of multiple WordPress-based websitesAssist in updating content, layouts, and features across platformsImprove website performance, responsiveness, and overall user experienceImplement SEO best practices to enhance visibility and organic growthConduct basic keyword research and support content optimizationTroubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth website functionalityManage plugins, themes, and minor customizationsAssist in maintaining website security, updates, and backups Requirements Experience with WordPress (themes, plugins, basic customization)Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScriptBasic understanding of SEO principles and web performanceStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage tasks independently and meet deadlinesInterest in digital platforms, design, and user experience What You’ll Gain Hands-on experience managing and optimizing live websitesExposure to digital platforms within the fashion and media spacePractical experience in SEO and organic growth strategiesPortfolio-worthy experience across web development and optimization Details Compensation: Unpaid internship (Academic Credit) Schedule: Full-time or part-time Full-time: 35–40 hours/week Part-time: 20–25 hours/week Location: Toronto (in-person / hybrid) Application To apply, please email your resume to info@fashionxmag.com Subject line: Web Development & SEO Intern
