Description

I’m working with an innovative technology business that is looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer. You’ll have the opportunity to influence technical strategy, solve complex engineering challenges and mentor other developers. Location: Cambridge (Hybrid) Salary: £70-80k The role: + Lead the architecture, design and development of high-performance, resilient and secure systems using C#/.NET. + Develop scalable, low-latency applications handling high-volume data and real-time processing. + Shape the technical vision and long-term platform strategy. + Drive coding standards, code reviews and CI/CD best practices. + Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimise system performance and reliability. + Mentor and support mid and senior-level developers. + Work within an Agile/Scrum development environment alongside wider software and engineering teams. Minimum role requirements: + Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET, + Proven experience designing and developing scalable, distributed systems and microservices. + Strong Web Application development experience. + Experience with front-end technologies/UI such as WPF, MVVM, MVP or MVC Interested?
