About the Opportunity: The Software Engineer II is responsible for independently developing and contributing to the design of software products that meet user needs. This role is integral to a dynamic team, supporting the creation, deployment, and maintenance of production applications. The position involves improving system configuration, security, resilience, performance, and monitoring to ensure robust operation. 3. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with product team members to develop secure and scalable software solutions • Ensure quality standards and change control processes are followed • Prepare developer-ready user stories with the product team • Automate infrastructure, monitoring, and testing through custom code or scripts • Conduct destructive testing to validate production resilience • Configure and modify systems using approved methodologies • Adapt commercial off-the-shelf solutions to business needs • Develop dashboards, logging, and alerting for proactive issue management • Engage in continuous learning to enhance skills and tackle new challenges • Participate in agile planning and collaborate to improve team success • Build partnerships and work collaboratively to achieve objectives 4. Requirements: • At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience • Proficiency in SQL and relational database queries • Experience with version control systems • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks • Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages, preferably Java • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases • Understanding of cloud computing techniques • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and microservice architectures • Skills in debugging and root cause analysis • Exposure to security frameworks for authorization and authentication • Ability to create and execute various tests, including unit, functional, destructive, and performance • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field 5.
