Your Impact at Encompass We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will play a critical part in designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge vintrace product solution. vintrace is a wine production software for future forward producers that streamlines the winemaking process from grape to bottle. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, enhance system architecture, and deliver high-quality software that meets business and customer needs. What You'll Do: As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions, working collaboratively within a cross-functional team to meet business and user needs. You will also engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from conception through deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables through rigorous testing and continuous refinement. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement software solutions while ensuring high performance and scalability.Modify our existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to improve performance.Collaborate with product teams to define specifications and develop software solutions that align with business goals.Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in various programming languages.Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices.Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading software as necessary.Work closely with other engineers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver outstanding products. What You'll Bring to Encompass: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development or a related role. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience working with the required technologies including Web applications / architecture, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript (vanilla)Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.The ability to be organised, resourceful, proactive and an effective communicator.Ability to take initiative and thrive in an environment of multi–tasking and interruptions.Possession of strong critical thinking, problem solving, and customer service and interaction skills.
