About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Software Fullstack Developer & Architect (d/f/m) to join our innovative Airbus Defence and Space Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions for upcoming and existing projects tailored to both German and international customers. You will lead the architectural design of scalable, secure, and high-performance systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards. As a core member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product owners, engineers, and validation teams, to deliver innovative solutions that enhance our defense and space capabilities. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a similar senior development role is essential, preferably within agile or systems engineering contexts. Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of designing and implementing complex software architectures, including microservices, cloud-based, or enterprise applications. Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe is advantageous. Strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are critical. Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective stakeholder engagement and team collaboration. Familiarity with defense industry standards, practices, and regulatory requirements is highly desirable. Additionally, experience in the automotive or defense sectors will be considered a plus. Responsibilities System Design: Develop scalable and secure software architectures encompassing front-end, back-end, and database layers, ensuring robustness and flexibility.Full Stack Development: Build intuitive user interfaces and develop reliable server-side logic, APIs, and database integrations, utilizing AI-enabled SDLC tools to streamline development processes.Technical Leadership: Lead development teams by setting coding standards, conducting code reviews, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, and requirements engineers to gather, analyze, and document software requirements using tools like Confluence and Cameo Modelling.Architectural Design: Model high-level software architectures, define components, modules, and interfaces, and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and design patterns such as microservices and REST APIs.Communication & Documentation: Clearly communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders, developers, and testers, ensuring alignment with project objectives and compliance standards.Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks in software design and implementation, logging and tracking issues in Jira for timely resolution.Testing & Validation: Work closely with Verification, Validation, and Test teams to ensure the architecture supports testable and verifiable requirements, facilitating smooth integration and deployment processes.
