Role Description The Data / Platform Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Northampton. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and platform services that support business applications and analytics. The engineer will manage and optimize databases, implement monitoring and alerting, and troubleshoot issues across infrastructure and application layers. Day-to-day tasks include developing and deploying software components, writing clean and efficient code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data and platform requirements, and ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and reliable. The role also includes documenting solutions, contributing to technical standards, and participating in performance tuning and capacity planning.
