A well-funded, global technology company is standing up a brand-new US engineering center, and are looking for a Platform Architect to define and own the technical foundation from day one.

What You'll Own
The end-to-end architecture of a multi-module deployment platform - versioning strategy, dependency and change-impact tooling, and a GitOps-based deployment model across multiple sites and environmentsPlatform-wide standards for API design, build integrity, and software supply chain securityThe systems that let engineering teams understand what's affected when code changes, and safely promote changes from staging through productionArchitectural reviews and technical mentorship for senior engineers across the orgClose partnership with security, compliance, and product leadership to keep the platform aligned with regulatory requirements across every region it operates in
What We're Looking For
10+ years in software engineering, with a strong track record in platform or infrastructure architectureReal experience designing and owning a developer platform used in production by 100+ engineers - not just operating or configuring tools someone else builtHands-on depth in at least several of: reproducible/hermetic build systems, dependency management at scale, version and compatibility governance, artifact registry design, and large-scale code/module organizationStrong Kubernetes and GitOps experience, and comfort working in GoCurrent or recent experience at a major cloud provider, hyperscaler, or a platform/infrastructure team at a leading fintech or crypto companyThe ability to reason about architectural tradeoffs at a system level, not just execute against a spec
