Description

Supercomputer is building software for the next generation of apps. We help product and engineering teams make their existing features easier to use through assistants, agents, and emerging software platforms. Our work combines product design, developer tools, and practical engineering, beginning with Apple-focused teams. Role We’re looking for a founding product engineer to help turn a new category of developer software into a product teams want to use every week. You’ll work directly with the founder and early design partners to build tools that help app teams understand what their products can do, make those capabilities available in new software experiences, and keep everything aligned as their products evolve. Responsibilities • Build the first product across macOS, web, and connected services. • Work directly with early customers to understand real development workflows. • Create reliable data models, integrations, and product experiences. • Balance fast experimentation with privacy, security, and maintainability. • Collaborate closely on product decisions, user experience, and technical direction. • Help establish the engineering culture and practices of the company. What you bring • Experience shipping complete products, not just isolated features. • Strong Swift, SwiftUI, macOS, or adjacent Apple-platform experience. • Comfort working across user interfaces, APIs, data models, and integrations. • Excellent product judgment and communication. • The ability to operate independently in an early-stage environment. • Interest in how assistants and agents will change software development. Nice to have • Developer tools or SaaS experience. • Experience with Apple platform integrations or automation. • TypeScript, backend, or cloud experience. • Experience working directly with design partners or early customers. Success in the first 90 days • Ship meaningful improvements to the core product. • Work with early users to validate the highest-priority workflows. • Establish a reliable technical foundation for future growth. • Help shape what Supercomputer builds next.
