System Developer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Serve as the primary IT liaison between business and technology teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions. • Develop system programming, reporting, and analytics solutions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business needs. • Document system requirements, define scope and objectives, and optimize processes in collaboration with business departments. • Participate in project teams for the definition, development, acquisition, and implementation of new software applications. • Work closely with external vendors and internal users on project execution, issue resolution, and requirement gathering. • Support team data and reporting initiatives, ensuring consistent data standards and practices across business units. What You'll Need • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience. • 2+ years of experience in IT/Software Development business analysis. • Proficiency in SQL writing/coding and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) usage. • Strong experience modifying and supporting custom .NET desktop applications (WinForms and WPF) built with C# and VB.NET, including developing against SQL Server databases. • Experience with higher education systems. • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, RightNow) and knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
