Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Develop new global services used directly by business users, forming a key part of strategic transformation. • Replace existing C++ services with next-generation technology and modern practices. • Analyze existing systems and conduct requirement discovery for new service delivery. • Gain exposure to linear products and direct business engagement. • Take ownership of sub-projects including permissions management, controls for marking and spreading, and delegation of controls. • Support UI interaction for pricing through a Pricing Service (Backend For Frontend), including bond curve configuration and pricing blotter support. What You'll Need • Mastery of C# including threading, memory management, and concurrency. • Experience with high-availability distributed systems (active-active, hot-hot, zero-downtime). • Messaging experience with systems like Solace, Kafka, or RabbitMQ. • Strong backend development experience with awareness of UI interaction for BFF. • Experience with real-time data/streaming and API design. • Ability to analyze legacy C++ systems and financial domain knowledge (Fixed Income, bond curves, capital markets) is desirable.
