Role Description This is a full-time, hands-on Senior Full Stack Software Developer role with headquarters based in the Greater Toronto-to-Waterloo corridor, in Southern Ontario. The Senior Full Stack Software Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain a scalable web B2B PaaS application that powers the Healthyher.Life™ platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, building and integrating back-end APIs and AI services, optimizing performance, implementing front-end user interfaces, and ensuring the highest level of security and data privacy always. The role involves collaborating closely with product, design, clinical, and operations teams to translate business and user needs into robust technical solutions, as well as reviewing code, mentoring developers, and contributing to architectural and AI infrastructure decisions. The successful candidate will continuously improve the platform’s reliability and usability, support deployment and monitoring workflows, and help shape technical best practices across the organization. Qualifications Robust back-end development experience (e.g., server-side languages, RESTful APIs, databases, and integration with third-party services) with a focus on scalability and maintainability.Proficiency in full stack application architecture, including code structuring, security best practices, performance optimization, and cloud-based deployment environments.Experience with modern development workflows (e.g., Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring tools).Strong front-end development skills (e.g., modern JavaScript frameworks, responsive UI development, HTML, CSS) and experience building accessible, user-centered web interfaces. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, translate product requirements into technical tasks, and provide technical leadership and mentorship.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality, reliable software.Previous experience in health tech, digital health platforms, or handling sensitive health-related data is an asset.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent with minimum 5 years of post-graduate practical experience; senior-level hands-on experience in full stack software development and system engineering.
