Senior Engineer | Enterprise AI $170-220k Base + ESOP Melbourne We’ve been engaged by one of Australia’s most exciting AI native startups to find a Senior Enterprise Account Executive as they scale their GTM function. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a VC-backed AI company that is redefining how software companies onboard and activate their customers. Their AI agents can see, understand and guide users in real time — helping customers get to value faster, increase product adoption and deliver a more scalable onboarding experience. They’re already working with some of the world’s largest technology companies and have closed multiple significant enterprise deals. The Opportunity: You’ll be working directly alongside our founders and engineering team in Melbourne to solve hard, low-latency, real-time AI problems. Problems you'll tackle: • Sub-2-Second End-to-End Latency: Optimizing context windows, model performance profiles, infrastructure, and code execution to ensure fluid, natural conversation. • Audio & Video Processing: Voice Activity Detection (VAD), Screen Activity Detection (SAD), turn-taking, barge-in, echo remediation, and transcript confidence. • Dynamic Knowledge Systems: Building systems that allow the agent to become an instant subject matter expert on complex enterprise platforms while staying under tight latency budgets. • High-Scale Infrastructure: Scaling call infrastructure to support peak loads from multi-billion dollar enterprise clients. Tech Stack: • Languages & Frameworks: TypeScript, Python • Infrastructure & Real-Time: WebRTC, Kubernetes (K8s), GCP What We’re Looking For: • 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with strong computer science & system design fundamentals. • Production LLM Experience : Function calling/tool use, prompt engineering, evals, and bridging the gap between theoretical model capability and production reliability. • Real-Time Systems Interest: Voice, video, media streaming, or low-latency APIs. • Product & Customer Mindset: Ability to reason about user experience and explain technical trade-offs clearly to product, growth, and non-technical partners.
