Role Description As a Python Developer at PPLIED, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend services that power our hiring platform.
You will write clean, efficient Python code, implement APIs, integrate third-party services, and optimize data processing workflows to improve matching accuracy and system performance.
Daily responsibilities include collaborating with product and engineering teammates, reviewing code, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring secure and reliable data handling.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the United States, combining on-site collaboration with flexibility for part-time work from home.
Qualifications
Strong programming skills in Python, with solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming principles.Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.Background in Software Development practices, such as version control (Git), testing, debugging, and continuous integration.Hands-on experience working with Databases (SQL or NoSQL), including schema design, queries, and performance optimization.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.Ability to work in a hybrid environment, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive culture.Experience in building scalable platforms or working in HR tech, recruiting, or matching engines is a plus.
