Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python, AWS & React) Location: Prague / Central & Eastern Europe (Remote/Hybrid) Start Date: ASAP We're looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join an exciting project focused on building a cloud-native platform to standardise clinical data. This role offers the opportunity to work across both backend and frontend technologies, owning features end-to-end—from data pipeline design through to the analyst-facing specification authoring tool. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and enhance a cloud-native transformation engine using AWS Step Functions, AWS Lambda and Databricks.Build and evolve GraphQL/AppSync APIs and a React frontend used to create and manage mapping specifications.Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform across multiple AWS environments.Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews and on-call support.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions. Required Skills & Experience 6+ years' professional software engineering experience (7+ years for Lead-level candidates).Strong Python development experience, including writing clean, testable code using pytest, pytest-bdd and AWS Lambda Powertools.Deep AWS knowledge, including:LambdaStep FunctionsS3DynamoDBIAMStrong understanding of cloud-native application design and distributed systems. Desirable Skills Experience with GraphQL/AppSync, including schema design and resolvers.React and TypeScript experience, ideally within modern frontend frameworks such as Vite.Terraform experience for Infrastructure as Code.Experience with Databricks or similar large-scale data processing platforms.Knowledge of event-driven architectures, including fan-out/fan-in patterns, idempotency and at-least-once delivery.Experience working within regulated industries such as Life Sciences, Healthcare or Financial Services.Familiarity with clinical data standards such as CDISC SDTM, ADaM or GxP environments would be advantageous.
