Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering a site that is fast, reliable, and optimized for conversions, while also ensuring robust analytics and attribution tracking across multiple platforms. This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, shipping tangible results daily, and owning the technical aspects of the website lifecycle from development to ongoing maintenance. Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on web development experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.Deep expertise in WordPress development, including extensive experience with Elementor Pro and custom theme modifications.Proficiency in PHP, enabling you to create custom functions, post types, and theme adjustments beyond standard plugins.Extensive experience configuring and managing Cloudflare and WP Engine environments, including cache rules, security settings, and staging environments.Strong understanding of analytics and attribution tools such as GTM, GA4, and conversion tracking across various ad platforms.Expertise in implementing structured data using JSON-LD, schema markup, and validating structured data for SEO enhancements.Deep knowledge of page speed optimization techniques, including image optimization, script auditing, and caching strategies, with a focus on Core Web Vitals.Experience leading full WordPress site migrations, ensuring SEO rankings, analytics, and conversions are preserved.Background in local business or home services websites, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this sector.Strong written English communication skills and the ability to work aligned with Pacific Time Zone hours.Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate effectively in a remote environment. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end rebuild of doitrightplumbers.com, focusing on performance, scalability, and user experience, utilizing WordPress, Elementor, and related tools.Develop and deploy new landing pages, service pages, and location pages on demand, maintaining a publishing cadence of 3 to 5 pages per week post-launch.Monitor and optimize website performance metrics, including LCP, INP, CLS, and PageSpeed scores, through continuous testing and refinement.Configure and manage Cloudflare and WP Engine platforms, ensuring security, caching, and staging environments are optimized and maintained.Implement and validate schema markup across the site, including LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, Review, and BreadcrumbList types, in collaboration with SEO specialists.Manage analytics setup and attribution tracking, troubleshooting issues across GTM, GA4, and ad platforms, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.Maintain technical SEO foundations by managing sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, and resolving crawl/indexing issues.Conduct A/B testing and CRO initiatives on key pages, optimizing for higher conversions and better user engagement.Ensure all website development adheres to mobile-first principles and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.Collaborate daily with the SEO team, CMO, and founder, providing technical expertise and executing on strategic initiatives.Take ownership of website security, plugin audits, updates, and platform stability, ensuring a reliable online presence.
