About The Role GrabJobs is seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, enhancing, and maintaining our core recruitment platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and customer support, to deliver innovative solutions that improve the user experience for both employers and job seekers. As part of a small, agile team, you will participate in all phases of the development lifecycle—from designing and coding backend services to creating engaging frontend interfaces, deploying applications to cloud environments, and troubleshooting complex issues. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to connect millions of users with meaningful employment opportunities worldwide. Qualifications Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development using Python, with a strong understanding of frameworks such as Flask and ORM tools like SQLAlchemy. Additionally, at least 2 years of experience in JavaScript development, preferably with React.js, is required. Familiarity with web service development best practices, code refactoring, and modernization is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have a proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud platforms such as AWS, along with knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, is highly desirable. A passion for technology and a genuine interest in the digital transformation of recruitment processes will set candidates apart. Responsibilities Develop and maintain robust backend services utilizing Python, Flask, and SQLAlchemy to support platform functionalities.Build and enhance intuitive frontend interfaces using JavaScript frameworks such as React.js and Next.js to deliver seamless user experiences.Participate in architectural design discussions and contribute to technical decision-making processes to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.Deploy, monitor, and optimize backend services within AWS cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the full application stack to maintain platform stability and security.Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure timely delivery.Write clear documentation for code, APIs, and system configurations to facilitate ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve platform capabilities.
