Role: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Remote)Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)Job Type: Full-TimePayout: $75-$110 / hr Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Cloud / DevOps Engineer (Infra & IaC) to work on a full-time basis. Join a leading AI lab’s GenAI team to develop foundational AI models by improving cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes operations. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in designing, diagnosing, and optimizing AI training and inference infrastructure at scale. Key Responsibilities: Guide research and engineering teams to close knowledge gaps in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, and infrastructure-as-code topics.Design domain-relevant tasks and write accurate solutions for cluster diagnosis, AWS service integration, and infrastructure automation problems.Evaluate infrastructure engineering tasks and solutions, providing clear written technical feedback.Develop guidelines and rubrics to assess cluster failure diagnosis, IaC design quality, and CI/CD pipeline reasoning.Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 4 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, site reliability, or platform engineering at a top-tier organization.Hands-on production experience operating Kubernetes, including diagnosing and repairing cluster failures without relying solely on managed control planes.Production experience with infrastructure-as-code, specifically Terraform and/or AWS CDK.Direct experience integrating AWS services in production, including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.Experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines.
