About The Role We’re looking for an exceptional Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Lyra Sr. DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, as well as supporting our software delivery pipelines. You will focus heavily on modernizing our platform tooling, evolving our production Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) footprint, and optimizing our managed cloud datastores (AWS RDS, Aurora, ElastiCache). Your expertise will ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure, enabling our development teams to deliver high-quality features efficiently and reliably. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and security specialists, will be key to ensuring our infrastructure aligns with our strategic goals and industry best practices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of healthcare technology, leveraging cloud-native solutions, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance our platform’s performance and reliability. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of Lyra’s infrastructure, supporting our mission to provide accessible, effective mental health care to millions worldwide. Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a strong background in DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure management. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is essential, including hands-on knowledge of services such as EKS, RDS, Aurora, and ElastiCache. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is required. Candidates should have experience with containerization, orchestration, and automation, along with a solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar are necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are critical for success. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, with a focus on EKS and managed cloud datastores. Automate deployment processes and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for cost-efficiency and high availability. Collaborate with development teams to integrate infrastructure requirements into application architectures and deployment strategies. Implement security best practices, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and DevOps trends, recommending improvements to enhance platform capabilities. Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices to promote knowledge sharing and operational excellence.
