About The Role We are seeking talented Android Engineers to join multiple teams at Whatnot, offering opportunities to work on either product experiences or mobile infrastructure. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing high-quality, intuitive Android applications that directly impact our buyers and sellers. Your work will help shape how users discover Whatnot, engage with the marketplace, and conduct transactions. On our product teams, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and fellow mobile developers to define goals, solve customer problems, and deliver seamless experiences at scale. You will be responsible for building features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, ensuring performance, reliability, and user satisfaction. Additionally, you may join our App Platform team, where your focus will be on creating the underlying mobile infrastructure that powers all Android experiences across the platform. This includes developing developer tooling, optimizing app architecture, enhancing performance, and establishing platform foundations that enable rapid deployment and high-quality user experiences for millions of users worldwide.
