EthosEnergy is currently looking for a Full Stack Software Developer based in Houston to help implement, maintain and support custom-built software products that are used internally and by our customers.
Job Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain full product lifecycle.Evaluate, prioritize, and deliver feature requests in an Agile environment.Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standardsProvide post deployment support and troubleshooting to ensure a world class user experience.Obtain extensive knowledge of the business process, use case, application implementation, deployment and release process to become an SME of the productsTest and deploy new releasesCreate documentation, communicate changes and organize/conduct training for users as neededMaintain and improve the software CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, bug free delivery of critical business software to productionOwn the onboarding process of customers and build, maintain and action migration plansEvaluate new technologies and lead the effort of introducing improvement and taking the products to the next level.
Required Skills / Knowledge
Fluent with TypeScript/React, Node.js, NPM, CSS/Sass, 3rd party UI libraries and controls.Fluent with C#, .Net Core Web API, Entity Framework and Microservices.Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID principles and Clean Architecture.Proficient in Code management with solid understanding of Git workflows.Proficient in relational data modeling and query optimization using Microsoft SQL Server and writing complex stored procedures.Hands-on experience debugging complex issues using structured logging and monitoring tools.Proficient in security protocols and anti-fraud measures for building and hosting secure solutions.Knowledge of cron jobs and task automation for backend processesDemonstrated ability to define and manage projects end-to-end, including architecture, delivery, and iteration.Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish is a plusYou're a hands-on technical expert who thrives in ambiguity and wants high ownership.You've built enterprise tools, commercial products, operations platforms, and complex scheduling/workflow systems from scratch.You have strong frontend/backend development skillsYou are comfortable Interfacing/collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.You are a great communicator and have good conflict resolution skillsYou seek meaningful work and enjoy solving real-world problems that improve people's lives.
Experience
6+ years of experience in full stack development roles focusing on Microsoft toolset and technologies.Experience in implementing Authentication/Authorizations for complex scenarios using multiple providers.Experience with cloud services and deployment best practices (Azure)Experience with ETL processes and data migration tools (AFD or SSIS)Experience with reporting tools (Power BI or equivalent)Bonus: experience working in the energy sector.Bonus: experience building apps with extensive printing requirements.
Education Requirements
