About The Role As a Staff Software Engineer specializing in ML Infrastructure & Distributed Systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Tubi’s machine learning capabilities. Collaborating closely with Machine Learning and Product teams, you will develop and enhance scalable inference platforms that power essential services such as personalized recommendations, search functionalities, and content understanding. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems using modern backend technologies, primarily focusing on building robust infrastructure components like inference engines, feature stores, vector stores, and experimentation engines. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical cross-functional projects, explore innovative frameworks, and contribute to open-source initiatives. You will have the architectural freedom to experiment and implement solutions that significantly improve deployment, operation, and scalability of ML services, ultimately transforming how ML and Product teams deliver value to users. The position is available in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York (Hybrid), or remote within the USA, providing flexibility for the right candidate.
