Platform Automation Engineer

Position: Platform Automation Engineer (CI/CD) Location: Remote Duration: Full time Rate: DOE We are seeking an engineer to design implement and maintain automation solutions that streamline development deployment processes as well as backend enhancements This role requires strong scripting expertise experience with CICD pipelines and proficiency in modern testing practices Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell andor Bash for deployment configuration and operational tasksDesign and implement Azure DevOps build and release pipelines ensuring robust CICD workflowsWrite and maintain unit tests and end to end E2E tests for applications built in CAnalyze and interpret service logs to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performanceWork with service and infrastructure metrics to build dashboards and monitors for proactive health checks and performance visibility Required Qualifications Scripting Expertise Strong experience in PowerShell andor Bash for automation tasksCICD Knowledge Proven track record in building and managing Azure DevOps pipelines YAML based preferredProgramming Skills Proficiency in C including writing unit tests and E2E testsLog Analysis Ability to read and interpret service logs for debugging and performance tuning Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms Azure preferredKnowledge of containerization and KubernetesFamiliarity with infrastructure as code tools ARM templatesExposure to monitoring and alerting tools eg Azure Monitor Grafana Prometheus MS Geneva
