SciTec has immediate opportunities for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to work in either our Boulder, CO or Princeton, NJ office.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the CrowdStrike technical lead, leading implementation and integration across virtual, physical, and cloud environments.
(AWS/Azure)Harden and secure mission infrastructure assets, including servers, network devices, storage systems, and supporting platformsProvide expertise to the vulnerability management process, including but not limited to risk prioritization based on environment and remediation actions.
(Tools include Tenable, NinjaOne)Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to provide cybersecurity input to system architecture, enclave segmentation, and infrastructure design decisionsServes as technical lead for CMMC/NIST 800-171 requirementsCreate and maintain SIEM queries in response to emerging threats around environment.Develop and maintain CrowdStrike NG-SIEM log parsingEnsure logging, monitoring, and access controls meet security and compliance requirementsIdentify and mitigate operational cybersecurity risks across the asset lifecycleSupport incident response preparation and forensic readiness effortsCommunicate cybersecurity posture, risks, and remediation plans to technical and program leadershipOther duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldCompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySa+) or similar certification6+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering2+ years of experience using CrowdStrike EDR and NG-SIEMProfessional technical experience with NIST 800-171 / CMMC controlsExperience conducting vulnerability scanning and remediationStrong understanding of Linux systems securityStrong understanding of Windows systems securityStrong understanding of Active Directory and IAM Security Best PracticesExperience with scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell or BashFamiliarity with network security concepts and segmentationAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearanceStrong documentation and communication skillsProven oral and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail

The pay range for this position is $124,000 - $158,000 / year.
