Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a React Native Mobile Developer. The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing performance, integrating APIs, fixing bugs, and collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences. The developer will participate in code reviews, write clean and testable code, and ensure mobile apps are secure, scalable, and aligned with MeroGO’s product roadmap. The role also involves contributing to technical decisions, improving development workflows, and staying current with best practices in mobile development. Qualifications Strong proficiency in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and familiarity with mobile UI frameworks.Experience building and deploying mobile apps for iOS and Android, including use of native modules and platform-specific optimizations.Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services and third-party SDKs.Understanding of mobile performance optimization, debugging tools, and application security best practices.Experience with version control (Git), agile methodologies, and collaborative development workflows.Familiarity with app store submission processes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for mobile apps.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with super apps, consumer-facing products, or scalable, user-centric platforms is a plus.
