Job Description
In this position, you will be part of the Applications Engineering team, acting as a key interface between customers, product marketing, design, validation, and verification teams.
You will contribute across the entire product lifecycle – from initial concept development to customer feedback.
You will work in a dynamic, international, and collaborative environment, playing a key role in the development of innovative and market-leading SPE (Single Pair Ethernet) products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and evaluate new concepts for SPE products, including simulation, prototyping, and validationCollaborate closely with design teams to transform concepts into robust and scalable solutionsSupport validation and compliance processes to ensure products meet customer and industry requirementsCreate, review, and maintain technical documentation and application notesProvide technical support to customers and ensure alignment with design recommendationsDrive high product quality by contributing expertise in signal integrity and EMC throughout the design and validation phasesPerform analysis, testing, and debugging using internal and external lab equipmentCollaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex technical topics to stakeholders with varying levels of expertise
Requirements/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (e.g.
Mechatronics, Physics) with 8+ years of relevant experience; Master’s degree preferredExperience with Ethernet / SPE technologies (100BASE-T1 / 1000BASE-T1)Experience with Ethernet compliance and certification processesStrong background in analog and digital circuit designExperience in system- and circuit-level simulation and analysisHands-on experience with modern measurement equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum/signal/logic analyzer, VNA)Experience in signal integrity and EMC testing and debuggingStrong technical documentation skills (reading and authoring)Programming / scripting skills (Python, C, C++, C#, Java, uPython)Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working styleFluent in English (business level)Preferred Skills:Experience in the automotive industryExperience in the semiconductor industryFamiliarity with AI-supported workflowsRF design and debugging experiencePCB design experience (Altium)Firmware development experienceSoldering skillsGerman language skills
