Embedded Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Develop embedded software using C++, Rust, or similar modern languages. • Write software to interface with hardware components via protocols like I2C, SPI, CAN, and UART. • Create device drivers and system applications for satellite systems. • Collaborate with hardware teams on board bring-up and integration testing. • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements to operations. What You'll Need • 3+ years of professional software development experience (excluding internships). • 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns and reliability. • Proficiency in at least one programming language. • Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
